Welcome to Feel Good Balham. These terms and conditions outline the basis on which we provide our services, use of our website, and the structure of our relationship with you.
By booking a treatment, purchasing a voucher, or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions or feel unclear about any part of these terms, please reach out to us at [email protected] before your appointment.
- About Us
Feel Good Balham is a holistic therapy centre located at Unit 7, Hildreth Street Mews, London, SW12 9RZ. Our registered company number is 8357019. We provide a space for qualified, independent practitioners to offer a range of physical, holistic, and talking therapies.
- Our Relationship with Therapists
Please note that the therapists, practitioners, and coaches operating at Feel Good Balham run their own independent practices.
- Each therapist is fully qualified, registered with their respective professional bodies, and carries their own professional indemnity insurance.
- While we provide the physical space and facilitate bookings, your care and the specific treatment plan are managed directly between you and your chosen practitioner.
- Bookings and Arrivals
To ensure a settled and calm environment for everyone, we encourage you to space out your arrival time appropriately.
- Arrival: For your first appointment, please aim to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled time. This allows you to settle into the space and complete any necessary client intake or consultation forms.
- Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, your therapist will do their best to accommodate you, but your treatment time may need to be shortened to respect the appointments of clients following you. The full treatment fee will still apply.
- Deposits
To secure your booking, we or your individual practitioner may request a deposit at the time of scheduling your appointment.
- Allocation: This deposit will be securely held and fully deducted from the final balance of your treatment on the day of your visit.
- Refundability: Deposits are fully refundable or transferable to a new date, provided you give us more than 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change your appointment.
- Late Changes: If an appointment is cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit may be retained to cover the practitioner’s time, as outlined in our cancellation policy below.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that life changes and plans sometimes need to be adjusted. Because our therapists reserve their time specifically for you, we operate a standard cancellation policy.
- Notice Period: We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel, change or reschedule your appointment.
- Late Cancellations: Appointments cancelled, changed or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to a fee up to the full value of the booked treatment. This is at the discretion of the individual practitioner.
- Gift Vouchers
Feel Good Balham gift vouchers are a meaningful way to share the gift of wellbeing. To ensure clarity for both the sender and the recipient, the following terms apply:
- Validity: Vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
- Reactivation and Extensions: If a voucher expires, it can be reactivated within one year of the original purchase date for a £10 reactivation fee. This will extend its validity by a further six months, or up to the first anniversary of the purchase date—whichever is soonest. Vouchers older than one year cannot be extended and are no longer valid.
- Refunds and Transfers: Gift vouchers are non-refundable. However, they are fully transferable and can be re-gifted to someone else, provided they are used before their expiry date.
- Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
Your safety and comfort are important to us.
- Medical Information: It is your responsibility to inform your practitioner of any known medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or if you are pregnant, before your treatment begins.
- Contraindications: Some holistic therapies may not be suitable for certain health conditions. Your therapist will discuss this with you during your initial consultation to ensure it is safe to proceed or to adapt the treatment accordingly.
- Right to Decline: Our practitioners reserve the right to decline treatment if they feel it is unsafe, clinically inappropriate, or if they assess that a different modality would better serve your health needs.
- Payments and Fees
- Fees for treatments are clearly displayed on our website or confirmed at the time of booking.
- Payments can be made directly to reception, at the time of booking, or on the day of your appointment.
- Prices are subject to change, but any changes will be communicated clearly before you book a new session.
