Silene Bricet

Acupuncturist

Silene is a registered acupuncturist with 20 years of experience, specialising in women’s health. She supports women through every stage of their reproductive lives, including stress, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menstrual disorders and menopause.

Training and credentials

Silene qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA), validated by the University of Plymouth. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s leading professional body for acupuncture, which upholds high standards of training, safety and ethical practice.

Ongoing learning

Silene is committed to keeping her skills and knowledge current. She holds the Fertility Diploma in Acupuncture and sets aside several hours each month to read and review the latest research. She is an active member of two leading fertility acupuncture networks, Fertility Support Trained and the Acupuncture Fertility Network. There she discusses case studies with colleagues, shares clinical insights and takes further courses, so her practice keeps evolving.

Her approach

Silene’s sessions go beyond needling. She believes good care starts with connection and a deep understanding of the person in front of her. She meets each client where they are, without judgement or pressure, and works alongside them to help them move forward at a pace that feels right.

Who she supports

While fertility is a major focus of her work, Silene’s care extends well beyond it. She also helps women with:

Silene was born in Lyon, France, where her family still lives.
