Meet The Therapist – Dace Jurjane
What kind of therapies do you offer?
As a holder of a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy, I am fully qualified to provide professional massage treatments, including full body (Swedish) massage, aromatherapy massage using preblended oils, hot stone therapy, and Indian Head massage. Since January this year, I have also been studying for my Healing Practitioner’s Diploma at the Holistic Healing College in London. Additionally, I hold a Second Degree in Reiki. This means my clients receive more than just a standard massage session — they experience a deeply restorative and healing treatment that supports full-body relaxation and balance, which is so essential in today’s stress-filled and fast-paced world.
Why did you want to get into the industry?
I believe that we, as human beings, come into this world with a deep sense of innate knowledge held within our bodies. As children, we are naturally in touch with it, but often lose this connection as we grow up. I feel that my mission in this world is to guide myself and others back to this wisdom — to rediscover that a caring touch can be one of the most powerful forms of healing and, at times, the best medicine.
What’s the best thing about your job?
I come from a very different professional background, having worked in European administration for the majority of my career. The turning point came when I earned my Consciousness Coach Diploma and began working as a Life Coach. It’s the most amazing feeling to witness real transformation in someone’s life and to know that I’ve played a part in that positive change. It’s incredibly rewarding — both professionally and personally.
Can you sum up the benefits of your therapies?
In all of the therapies I offer, I honour a holistic approach. Unlike the traditional idea in Western medicine, which often focuses on treating symptoms rather than addressing the deeper causes of illness, I believe that we, as human beings, are profoundly interconnected in mind, body, and spirit. When the body is unwell, the mind cannot function at its best. And when the soul is suffering, it inevitably affects our entire being.
As a Life Coach, I support individuals through very challenging situations — including trauma, toxic relationships, and mental health struggles. As a massage therapist, I offer a similar kind of support, but by working directly with the body to initiate healing and relaxation.
Ultimately, it’s up to my clients to choose how deep they want to go: whether to dive into a full life review or simply enjoy a shorter treatment focused on rest and renewal. Both are equally valuable and can be powerful starting points for transformation.
As I always remind my clients: self-care is not a luxury — it’s a necessity.
